One Arrow Lands department

One Arrow First Nation over the past eight (8) years has developed FNLMA 2015 (Land Code) operational status which a legal agreement transferring responsibility from Indigenous Services Canada to One Arrow First Nation, removing forty-four (44) sections of the Indian Act dealing with land management. One Arrow First Nation would take back control over reserve land and resources after One hundred and fifty (150) years of Canadian government control.

Summary 2022

Key Activities

  • Housing Lot and Parcels Project for new homes and future sub-divisions.
    Currently have 40 homes (lots) and waiting for 10 more. Surveyed and on Canada Lands (Google Earth).
  • Complete Environmental Management Plan 2022
    Currently Policy and doing project for law development.
  • Solid Waste Management Plan 2022
    Currently Policy and doing Compost project plan.
  • Review and update Land Use Plan (2016)
    Complete 5 Year review of Land Use Plan.
