Law Development

One Arrow First Nation became the 50th First Nation to vote and sign First Nation Land Management Act (2015) (Land Code) giving One Arrow First Nation the right to pass community laws. Laws are specific to the One Arrow First Nation and its membership. ie…Trespassing, Elections, Land Use and Financial Law. In turn creating transparency and accountability to membership. Part of the Land Code development is creating a Land Use Plan (2016) and Environment Management Plan (2022) One Arrow completed these objectives and will make these Land Laws. These Laws will guide One Arrow First Nation towards self determination.
