Almightyvoice Education Centre is a PreK – 12 school, located 95 km North East of Saskatoon on One Arrow First Nation.
Principal
The role of the Principal is to provide leadership, direction and co-ordination within the school. Achieving academic excellence requires that the school Principal work collaboratively to direct and nurture all members of the school staff hired and to communicate effectively with parents. Inherent in the position are the responsibilities for scheduling, curriculum development, extra-curricular activities, personnel management, emergency procedures, and facility operations. The school Principal serves as the educational leader, responsible for managing the policies, regulations, and procedures to ensure that all students are supervised in a safe traditional First Nation learning environment that meets the approved curricula and vision of the school.
Educational Assistant
To create a positive class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with students; to motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for education in accordance with each student’s ability; to establish good relationships with parents and other staff members. The Educational Assistant works within the framework of the job description and assignment and makes decisions only within that framework. Educational Assistants are responsible for personal care activities, student safety and academic assistance as assigned to them.
High School Teacher
High School Teacher was established for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional process by serving as a teacher with specific responsibility for supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas; developing lesson plans and delivering group an individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students’ parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.
Elementary School Teacher
To create a flexible elementary grade program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with students; to motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for upper elementary grade education in accordance with each student’s ability; to establish good relationships with parents and other staff members.
