To support Band Members with meaningful, traditional and effective Justice initiatives and possible intervention(s) regarding their involvement in Canada’s and Saskatchewan’s Justice Systems
MISSION STATEMENT
We strive to provide the following Justice Processes and procedures through our program and as well in partnership with our many Affiliates:
- Victim Services
- Court appearances and preparation (Victim and Offender)
- Alternative Measures
- Fine Option Coordination
- Court Ordered Community Service Coordination
- Mediation
- Community Accountability/Healing Circle Forums
- Correctional and Federal Penitentiary Advocacy
- Municipal Police Services and R.C.M.P. positive relationship on behalf of Band Membership
- Informative Justice events and information sessions in collaboration with the Saskatoon Tribal Council Inc.
- Traffic Safety initiatives
- Government of Saskatchewan Community Corrections in relation to Probation
- Delivering awareness to the Membership on trending Justice Issues that affect Our Community and sounding areas.
